Our client is a dynamic, fast growing business operating in a niche market. Through forthcoming legislation, their market is about to grow exponentially. They are urgently seeking an additional RICS qualified, experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an existing team of 6 QS’s. Based in Rochester, the role is primarily office based though occasional site visits will be required. The successful applicant will be required to interpret and cost out surveys on existing commercial properties around the region. Hours of work are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri with 28 days holiday pa. This is a specialised and highly regulated area of QS work and full training will be given. Candidates with experience of capital allowances or M&E will have an advantage. At a time when the construction industry is struggling and good quality QS vacancies are hard to come by, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful, financially secure business in a rapidly growing sector, and is likely to provide job security for years to come. The role carries a salary of £30-£35k pa, plus bonus.
