Ripe4 are currently working with a major engineering company, who are looking to completely overhaul and grow their Operational Excellence team. They are a company whose actions can effect millions of customers every day, and are continually looking to provide the highest level of service possible, and their Continuous Improvement activities are integral to this.

As it is a highly important time in the London area this year, their Continuous Improvement programme is now more important than ever before, therefore they are looking to build a team of fully certified Black Belts, to be based in one of their locations in central London, to drive improvement projects in engineering, maintenance, and back office functions.

There is full support from the senior management, right up to the CEO, for their lean six sigma programme, and they see the role as a stepping stone onto greater things, moving into senior process or a senior Operational role within 18-24 months. This is a superb opportunity for anyone looking to take their career onto the next step and develop quickly.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and have experience in an industry such as manufacturing, engineering, production, utilities, transport, or similar. You will have worked in a dedicated continuous improvement role, and have delivered a number of improvement projects, with some tangible savings and results. You will also have delivered training to people at all levels within the organisation. You will also be able to demonstrate your abilities at managing projects and people, analysing processes, and producing results.

Key skills & experience will encompass the following:

- Project validation / cost benefit analysis
- Dealing with large amounts of external suppliers & customers
- Key facilitator of stakeholders & project teams
- Strong analytical & numeric skills
- Lean Sigma DMAIC Project experience
- Good presentation skills and able to operate at all levels of the business
