Mech-Elec Contracts,Install, Commission Mangs - Engs - Water Industry - Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Norwich, Gt Yarmouth, Ipswich
We are recruiting for our clients the following personnel on a permanent or 6 month contract basis.

Job Title: Contract Engineer/Manager

Reporting To: General Manager

Location: Bury St Edmunds/ E Anglia Region,
London, Edmonton, Castleford, Ripley an others in UK

Job Summary: You will be working from our offices in Bury St Edmunds. Reporting to the General Manager you will be involved in the individual management of Electrical and
Combined schemes, predominately in the water industry.

The main duties include the responsibility for the following:

1. Outline engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising inhouse resources, site installation and construction personnel.
2. The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
3. Liaise with client。ヲs engineering and operations staff to ensure KPI。ヲs are met or exceeded within budget constraints.
4. Attend internal and external review and progress meetings.
5. Attend site visits/meetings.
6. Ascertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions.
7. Prepare estimates and quotations.
8. Complete contract documentation.
9. Manage site safety, health and environmental issues.
10. Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams.
11. Procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors.
12. Attend/undertake factory site and works testing, commissioning and client training.
13. Overall responsibility for Profit/Loss on contracts undertaken.
14. Establishing and agreeing price variations and final accounts.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

1. An Electrical industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent
2. Experience in ICA.
3. Process knowledge of Waste water & Clean water treatment facilities.
4. Commercial and contractual awareness.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
6. Be able to organise yourself and others workload

Job Title: Installation Manager

Reporting To: General Manager

Job Summary: A vacancy has arisen for a Installation Manager. Reporting to the General / Business Manager, you will be involved in the management of installations for Mechanical / Electrical and Combined schemes, predominately in the water industry. The main duties include the responsibility for the following:

1. ハTo assume responsibility for the successful development and operational management of the installation activities.
2. ハTo recruit and develop a highly motivated workforce, capable of undertaking multi-discipline (mechanical and electrical) works.
3. ハTo provide day-to-day management for the allocated site staff, ensuring that all schemes are being effectively delivered to the clients satisfaction.
4. ハTo ensure all site activities are undertaken in full accordance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company policies.
5. ハTo assume responsibility for the financial performance of all works being undertaken by the direct labour resources, ensuring works are delivered within the agreed financial budgets.
6. ハTo participate in monthly financial reviews for all schemes with the General Manager / Commercial Manager.
7. ハTo ensure compliance with all company commercial and financial procedures.
8. ハTo ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental and quality systems.
9. ハTo assist the General Manager in the development of business with our key clients.
10. ハTo closely liaise with the Project Delivery teams, to ensure resources are correctly allocated and client requirements are fully achieved.
11. ハLiaison with client。ヲs staff to ensure KPI。ヲs are met or exceeded within budget constraints
12. ハAttend internal and external review and progress meetings
13. ハAttend site visits/meetings.
14. ハAscertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
15. ハPrepare estimates and quotations
16. ハComplete contract documentation

18. To ensure all contract documentation such as, 。ァAs built。" drawings, Commissioning Manuals and Operation and Maintenance Manuals are prepared in line with the client specifications and timescales
19. ハEstablishing and agreeing price variations and final accounts

Individual Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills:
1. ハA proven track record of successfully delivering schemes of varying size in terms of quality, programme and financial performance.
2. ハThe ability to manage staff at varying levels, providing leadership, staff development and retention of key personnel.
3. ハThe ability to interact in a professional manner with senior representatives of our clients.
4. ハTo have a good understanding of contract conditions and an astute commercial awareness.
5. ハTo be able to manage multiple contracts of varying size and nature.
6. ハTo be able to prepare accurate reports detailing programme, financial position, health safety, environmental performance and progress for all allocated schemes.

Skills & Qualifications Required:
