Composites Materials Engineer - Bristol, South West
* Experience of laboratory testing techniques and associated standards (ASTM, DIN, BS) * Experience of various composites manufacturing processes * Experience in the synthesis and preparation of materials * Experience of designing and carrying out materials test programmes * Experience of designing and carrying out structural test programmes * Experience of developing novel test methods
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: * Relevant degree or equivalent qualification/experience * An excellent level of computer literacy including project management packages and excellent report writing skills * Confidence with presentations and good verbal communication skills * A natural curiosity for practical problem solving * Enjoys working within a team environment and can adapt according to customer requirements * Highly proactive and self-motivated * Ability to operate under pressure and to tight timescales
Candidates should preferably have composities experience in more than one industry sector. Especially interested in people with automotive, aerospace, marine and construction industry experience.
